I received my Certified Passive House Builder credentials this week. Yahoo! It took 32 hours of class and around thirty hours taking and passing the exam/extended education. It was well worth it. Thanks to Dan Whitmore for his excellent class presentation, Phius (Passive House Institute US), and RDH Learning. There was so much useful information presented and tons more offered for reference. My view of a well-built house has evolved for the better. Phius standards will inform anything that I build going forward. With the looming hellscape of climate change, the stakes couldn’t be higher!
